Brighton’s shores transform into a mesmerizing tribute to ancient Egypt, created by 60 brilliant Artists from around the world, from Russia, Hawaii, USA, Germany, Ireland and France in a sculpture festival in the summer of 2005 at Brighton Marina. 10.000 tons – 500 lorry loads of sand was shipped in from Holland for the festival. Visitors wander through open-air galleries, where each sculpture glistens in the sunlight, bridging the gap between modern seaside charm and the timeless allure of one of history’s most fascinating cultures.
